San Diego International Birthing Project (SDIBP), is a perinatal community organization. Our vision is to enhance the community maternal physical and mental health to obtain positive outcomes. To produce healthy mothers and healthy babies.
Why you should donate?
The SDIBP vision is to decrease maternal morbidity and infant mortality. In our diverse community black mothers are three times more likely to die from childbirth than non-Hispanic white women, and currently the infant mortality rate is 8.1% in San Diego County. African American mothers have the lowest rate of breastfeeding initiation and duration. Empowerment is through education and social support. The SDIBP needs your help. Please donate.
