Shelley Denise Winn is the Executive Director and CEO of the San Diego International Birthing Project, a one on one sister mentoring, educating, empowering program. She work with predominately women of color, fathers, and families. Shelley is a former little sister, big sister and advocate in the community to help healthy mothers have healthy babies. She has worked in education and with families  for over twenty years, and currently have a Family Studies Certificate, Ma ED, MA in Christian Studies and is a candidate to receive her Doctorate Degree in Education and Organizational leadership. She is dedicated to the community and a member of the perinatal healthy equity advisory board. Her ultimate goal is to make a difference in birth outcomes with women in her community.
