Our Programs

We have several programs that are conducted virtual and in person. We are always adding new programs to enlighten the community. Come join us and our newest programs Barber Shops for Pops and our Sister Speaks sessions.

BARBER SHOP FOR POPS

The Barber Shop is a program which helps fathers to become active parents in their children’s lives. The Barber Shop offers emotional support and links fathers to community networks and resources for the following:

  • Parenting and life skills
  • Mental Health referrals
  • Social Support
  • Health Education
  • Healthcare Assistance
  • Iron sharpens Iron
Sister Speaks

Sister Speaks is group that meets monthly virtually, online or in person to discuss social, emotional and educational progress. This is a positive group that uplifts and encourage one another to become active parents and citizens in the community. The following subjects are addressed:

  • Parenting and life skills
  • Women support
  • Sister Friends
  • Women and baby items
  • Mental Health
  • Postpartum
