San Diego International Birthing Project is a community based volunteers organization that provide support, and advocacy for African American and women of color obtaining prenatal care. Serves mothers, babies, and their families who need access to Adequate Healthcare and social Support. San Diego International Birthing Project is a grass roots community-based volunteer organization. We work in San Diego County assisting women with their social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs to be healthy, functional successful citizens in society. To give them a hand up, a chance to live and tell their story. We believe “It takes a village”…

The San Diego International Birthing Program in a nonprofit volunteer organization. Our vision is to reduce the maternal morbidity and infant mortality that affects African American women and women of color. We are a community and volunteer based organization who provides support and advocacy for healthcare and social support. We practice the Sister – friend model whose purpose is to connect pregnant women with caring compassionate and understanding women.
